Our base service fee is 7.5%, which is reduced to 5% or less if you are subscribed to one of our paid plans.
When accepting single one off donations, there is no Stripe fee, we pay this for you as part of the service charge.
However, when accepting monthly recurring donations. this base service charge will fluctuate as we are unable to pay all of the Stripe fees on your behalf. This means our service charge will be lower but Stripe will separately deduct their fees from the transaction.
For monthly recurring donations the fees are 6.9% service fee + Stripe fees for anyone using our free plan. For paid plans, it is 4.4% + Stripe Fees. The total of these fees will add up to equal our standard service fees of 7.5% and 5% respectively.
For these examples we will specify donations in Great British Pounds and assume that all donations have been made using UK Debit or Credit Cards.
For charities in other countries, you will have the same result on single one off donations as we pay the stripe fees and absorb any fluctuations that may occur as the result of international cards / currencies.

We will also assume a rate of 0.6% + 2p is being charged by Stripe for these UK cards, however it is likely this could fluctuate depending on the card used and country of origin (of the card). The only fee below that we guarantee won't fluctuate is our service fee which as stated above is 6.9% for anyone using our free plan and for paid plans, it is 4.4%.

The Stripe fees are deducted by Stripe on monthly recurring donations. We do not provide exact rates for these fees as they are subject to change as Stripe alters it's pricing structure. As more charities raise funds via our platform and our monthly volulme increases, we will endeavour to negotiate lower fees with Stripe. If after using our platform, you notice the Stripe fees are lower on recurring donations then it is most likely due to a negotiated rate.
Our payment network charges a fixed rate for payouts, a payout occurs when funds are sent to your bank account. The standard Stripe charge is 0.25% + 10p. However our customers will benefit from a reduced rate of 0.25% + 2p.
